Universal (New)

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has dated its upcoming 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases of Cary Joji Fukunaga's No Time to Die (2021), starring Daniel Craig, La Seydoux, Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, and Ralph Fiennes. The two releases will be available for purchase on December 21.

Studio description: In No Time To Die, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Special Features and Technical Specs:

  • DOLBY VISION/HDR PRESENTATION OF THE FILM
  • DOLBY ATMOS AUDIO TRACK
  • ANATOMY OF A SCENE: MATERA In true Bond fashion, there is an incredible pre-credit sequence featured in No Time To Die. A breathless chase shot in Matera that starts on foot, then motorcycle, then car. Not just any car either the iconic Aston Martin DB5! Through interviews with Daniel Craig and director Cary Joji Fukunaga, plus on-set interviews with key members of the crew, we discover how the filmmakers shot this breathtaking sequence.
  • KEEPING IT REAL: THE ACTION OF NO TIME TO DIE In a world full of CGI-heavy action films, the Bond franchise proudly stands out from the crowd for always shooting practical stunts, without the use of special effects. In this piece we see how No Time To Die continues with this tradition with its amazing action sequences.
  • A GLOBAL JOURNEY Exotic locations are synonymous with all Bond movies and No Time To Die is no different. As well as returning to Bond's spiritual home, Jamaica, for Daniel Craig's final outing, we also go on a global journey taking in Italy, Norway and Scotland. We'll hear from Daniel Craig, Cary Fukunaga, other key cast and filmmakers, on what it was like filming at these spectacular locations.
  • DESIGNING BOND Production designer Mark Tildesley and costume designer Suttirat Anne Larlarb, along with cast and other filmmakers, discuss the inspiration, challenges and trials of concepting and making such remarkable sets and costumes for the iconic Bond franchise.
  • BEING JAMES BOND* In this special 45-minute retrospective, Daniel Craig candidly reflects on his 15-year adventure as James Bond. Including never-before-seen archival footage from Casino Royale to the 25th film No Time To Die, Craig shares his personal memories in conversation with 007 producers, Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, in the lead up to his final performance as James Bond.
  • Optional English SDH, Spanish, and French subtitles for the main feature

@ArnoldLayne56 None, thus making "No Time to Die" the first 007 movie with 3D theatrical release.

This flick must be the most talked about, written about, chopped up and (most likely) lied about movie since APOCALYPSE NOW.

If the studio wanted to offer us something REALLY unique and special it would be a two disc release. One disc would be the complete movie that was set to be released in 2019 and a second disc with the complete October 2021 release.

Would that not explain how today's filmmakers sweat it out trying to make a profit while bowing to the current Pop Culture demands?

I would buy that release Day One.

Biggest elephant is 3D for me, as no other Bond was in 3D!

Same as mortal combat ! Why?????

Really annoying that they didn't match the cover art for the other four Craig Bond UHDs

@rattlesnakes

Sure was. I saw it in LA in 3D.

The 3D wasn't the most amazing conversion I've seen, but the gunbarrel and opening titles were awesome in 3D!

There have been a few comments about box sets . But this title is being released by Universal

The prior titles are released thru Fox, and now thats owned by Disney. However Amazon was interested in buying MGM. SObox set who knows

I might just wait for a Youtuber, who received a review copy, to unbox it. There's a bit of confusion towards the release. The photos portray a single 4K and a single BD, but the back shows as if there are 3 discs. The same goes for the Blu-ray release. Some are saying it'll be 1 BD + 2 DVDs, rather than 2 BD + 1 DVD. Not sure what to believe anymore.

I mean...

I'm just gonna say it: Anyone dumping on this movie for being "too woke" is a terminally online ideologue who hasn't actually seen the film.
